Blissoma Skincare Haul – New Product Launch + Old Favorites

Oh, Blissoma, the wonders you do for my skin! I’m excited to share my latest little Blissoma haul, including my thoughts on the latest product to their range – the Tone Peaceful Purity Tonique toner for sensitive skin – and to re-hash my love for their gel cleanser and Lift moisturizer. Plus, I finally got my hands on a sample of their Lavish mask! As always, you can find my link at the bottom of this post to save 10% on your first Blissoma order!

Blissoma is a natural skincare line that delivers real and healthy results in the form of raw, active, herbal healing solutions for the most authentic and honest skincare experience. Each and every product in the Blissoma skincare line is crafted with complex herbal formulas, containing only the most freshly extracted, nutrient-rich ingredients.

Tone Peaceful Purity Tonique

What it is: A hydrating toner designed for sensitive skin. It’s free of alcohol and essential oils! Made with a base of holy basil hydrosol, a bit of rose hydrosol, and infused with a handful of beneficial herbs like gentian, brahmi, gotu kola, and hops. Includes skin-softening MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) and a little bit of glycerin as a humectant which helps to draw water to the skin. Hydrating indeed!

My friend Lauren (@greenbeauty_stl on Insta – check her out!) and I recently held a giveaway on Instagram of our favorite products from the Blissoma sensitive skin range and this new toner was her pick. After our giveaway I had to give it a test for myself and I’m so happy I picked this up! Before buying this one, I only had one toner in my skincare collection and it did not contain a humectant which I’ve come to realize are necessary in toners, otherwise they are just not as effective at hydrating the skin. What I love most about this toner is that it uses a minimal amount of glycerin for its humectant action, because too much of it can leave a tacky and shiny finish. This one doesn’t give my skin that yucky finish, but instead leaves my skin refreshed, hydrated, and even slightly plump. My second favorite thing about it is the scent. I haven’t smelled anything like it! It’s incredibly crisp and fresh, like a blend of licorice candy and apple. This toner has every ingredient you could need in a toner, while still being affordable. Toners don’t need a million ingredients and that is why I’m happy to see this one maintains a minimal list while still including important and beneficial ingredients! Highly recommend to give this toner a shot – it is my new favorite and was a big favorite for the month of April.

Lift Intelligent Energy Creme

What it is: A medium-weight moisturizer packed with antioxidants and rich, nourishing ingredients. Geared towards those looking to fight/reduce signs of aging, but most skin types can use it. Has a silky lotion-creme consistency and provides plentiful moisture with a glowing, slightly dewy finish that’s not greasy nor heavy. Most suitable for night time, but can be worn alone in the day. Can also be used as an eye cream.

I didn’t buy a back-up of this moisturizer when I last ran out of it a few months ago and I have now realized I can’t live without it! It just does something for my skin that their other moisturizers don’t do (but don’t get me wrong, I love them and own them all!). This is one of the only moisturizers that I’m able to wear alone without having to layer it with other ones because it does the job so well all on its own. Even better that I can wear it in the day time because it doesn’t leave a shiny or greasy finish! Instead it leaves a glowing, slightly dewy finish that won’t interfere with makeup. I would recommend this moisturizer to all skin types because it’s mostly free of pore-clogging ingredients and it’s minimal on essential oils, so sensitive skin types are less likely to have a reaction, unless you can’t do lavender. Highly recommend this moisturizer – it’s one of my favorite products from the entire Blissoma range!

Free Herbal Gel Cleanser & Makeup Remover

What it is: A gentle, non-stripping, pH-balanced cleanser from Blissoma’s sensitive skin range. Free of grain alcohol, essential oils, nuts, gluten, and common botanical allergens. Great for all skin types!

I have more than enough gel/cream cleansers on hand at the moment, but I had to take the opportunity to sample their Free cleanser again. It’s great for both mornings and night time, but I especially love it for the morning because of how fresh it makes my skin feel. While I would describe it as non-foaming, it does contain one very mild + gentle surfactant which creates the smallest micro-foam that’s only noticeable after it’s gathered in my eyebrows while cleansing. I haven’t tried removing makeup with this cleanser because I prefer to double cleanse, but it’s great for a gentle, non-stripping second cleanse. Both Free and their Fresh rice cleanser are some of my all time faves – highly recommend both!

Free retails for $39 (4oz) and is available at

Lavish Loving Recovery Beta Glucan Mask

What it is: A rich, creamy moisturizing mask designed to calm, soothe, and restore skin that is dry and inflamed. Especially great for sensitive skin types as it’s free of grain alcohol, essential oils, and common botanical allergens. Can be used as a quick moisturizing mask, as an over-night moisturizing treatment, or as a regular moisturizer.

Finally, I am getting around to sample Lavish! On Instagram I see nothing but positive comments about this mask and naturally I want to test everything in the Blissoma line so I am of course very excited to get my hands on a sample of it. So far I’ve tried it only as a moisturizing mask (which you rinse off) and being of the “yellow label” line designed for sensitive skin, it reminds me a lot of their Pure Sensitive Skin Soothing Complex which is a creamy moisturizer. Right upon application of Lavish my skin instantly felt calmed, soothed, and relieved since it delivers a heavy dose of moisture. Sometimes I get a bit aggressive with my double cleansing and it’s no wonder my skin takes so well to it! After rinsing off my skin retained much of that feeling of relief and was left feeling plump and slightly moisturized. With Summer coming soon I feel that this would make a great mask for protection and treatment against the barrage of damage that the heat does to my skin, as this mask has repairative properties. I’m definitely picking up a full-size jar in the future!
